I WANT to express my gratitude to my neighbours who collectively produced one of the best parties I have been to.

The party was to celebrate the Royal Wedding and 148 people attended the street party.

It was a truly memorable day. The food, DJ and entertainment were all fabulous as was the atmosphere. Before the planning began I only knew a handful of people, now I know them all.

The community spirit is very much alive in Byron Court and there is already talk of next year’s Golden Jubilee celebration.

Thanks must also go to Warrington Borough Council who cleaned the street, cut the grass and made the place look lovely.

My thanks to everyone and I can’t wait to do it all again.
