TWO weeks ago I accidentally left my fishing rod on the bank at Moore Quarry.
Once I realised, I did return in hope of it still being there, but it was not.
I had almost lost hope in finding the rod when this week you printed a small line in the fishing section requesting the owner of the rod to call a number.
This I did and, unbelievably, was put in touch with the man who had not only found my rod but had gone to the trouble to inform the Guardian of its whereabouts.
I would like to say a very big thank-you to Darren of Thelwall Lane for his genuine act of kindness.
