In reply to Bob Williams, head of borough council communications, he states that: "Badly thought out, badly informed comment, adds nothing to legitimate debate about future education."
If this is the case about "Falling rolls" why does the education department want to demolish a perfectly sound building - Stockton Heath Primary School and replace it with a two form of entry school in a village with an ageing population? Could it be something to do with the water? Are we to have a birth explosion in Stockton Heath? I don't think so.
Think again Mr Williams before you spit your dummy out. Would it be possible for the 5,154 people who signed the petition to get a guided tour of the school maybe you could show us something that English Heritage failed to find?
