THE other morning when I was leaving for work I noticed a ticket on my window screen.
I had a fine for having a cartoon character picture on my front number plate. This really infuriated me. My car was parked outside my house and at the end of last year seven cars and two front doors in my street were vandalised. It cost me nearly £300 for my car to be repaired and although this was reported to the police and they said they would come out to take a statement they never followed it up with me.
How can they justify finding the time to drive down my street at 1am to write out fines but not find the time to sort out a serious vandalism case?
