SPRING is here and our parks are under attack!
Trees and shrubs have been smashed to the ground and nesting birds left homeless. Hedgerows have been treated with herbicide killing woodland flowers.
In fact, judging by the acres of scorched grass across the town, weed killer seems to have been doused everywhere that the council workers cannot reach with their mowing machines.
Our once lovely parks are being turned into barren wastelands which is bad for wildlife and the public.
What a sad state of affairs.
