I AM writing in response to Amy Daniels’ letter of April 23 in which she stated that fat people have no right to bare flesh on a summer day.
She gives the impression that she is repulsed by the fat bellies of men and fat legs of women. Who is next on the unsightly hit list?
Perhaps you find the elderly and disabled people unsightly?
The lesson your mother should have taught you is that it is not what a person looks like but how they conduct themselves and the way they behave towards other people that is important.
Please realise that the sunshine is for everyone and sadly is one of the only free pleasures left in life.
