I REFER to the letter last week which stated that William Hague did not meet with members of WRAPP during his visit. This is not true. He met with and was briefed by a number of past and present WRAPP activists, including two of the three residents who delivered the petition to Downing Street.
The decision announced last week was excellent for the town and reflects well on the many residents who have worked hard over the past six months. I also think our MPs have lobbied effectively for the town. What matters now is that all elected representatives, regardless of political persuasion, work together to deliver the Omega Vision.
Warrington needs the jobs that a vibrant business park will bring. We must be positioned to capitalise on the upturn when it arrives.
DAVID MOWAT Prospective Conservative MP Warrington South
