RECENTLY a family member went to visit our son’s grave, to her horror she saw that ornaments had been smashed, flowers pulled out, shredded and thrown in front of the headstone and our son’s teddies and a baby’s wooden mobile we bought for his first birthday had been stolen. What kind of person could do such a thing and sleep at night? Do they not understand the upset they have caused?
Something needs to be done at Warrington Cemetery on Manchester Road and other cemeteries to ensure that our loved ones do actually rest in peace.
I am not complaining about the cemetery staff who have been very helpful and I understand that there is little they can do.
