WITH what has been spent on the new footpath and paving system throughout Latchford village, which seems to have been going on for ever and a day, a better idea may have been to ask the good people of Latchford and the borough what they would have preferred the council to spend their hard earned tax payments on.
A swimming pool at Victoria Park, or even upgrade the old bath complex in Bath Street. Or could it be that the council would wish to spend cash on some other costly, unnecessary, ridiculous scheme?
Wake up and smell the coffee. Not everyone can afford £30 – £40 per month gym membership, especially with children.
