I ALONG with my colleagues from Warrington Hospital A&E department, had the privilege of being invited to take part in one of The Lowland Search Team’s exercises recently in Wigan.
The charity provides assistance to emergency services in the event of missing person searches or major incident support and undertakes weekly training at venues throughout Cheshire, to ensure that their skills are practiced and up-to-date.
They took us out with them on the searches and gave us a crash course.
It very comforting to know that there are volunteers who dedicate a huge amount of their time and money to help people in their time of need.
No matter who it is, or under what circumstances, Cheshire Lowland Rescue Team would be there to assist in finding that missing person and bringing them back to safety. They do a great job and deserve much recognition.
