I RECIEVED my council tax bill last week and was disappointed to see that the council is not supporting the Post Office and is using a private firm, UK Mail. I know they pay the Post Office for delivery, so why not go through the Post Office in the first place?
I do not want to see the Post Office sold through no fault of its own. All governments have taken money out of the Post Office, so they were never in the position to invest. Now that they are making money and can invest, the government want them to sell out.
