I REFER to your article regarding the proposed building of 4,000 houses in south east Warrington (Warrington Guardian online, September 19).
I find it difficult to see where these 4,000 dwellings are going to be built.
Is there sufficient land to accommodate this number of homes, or are some going to be 12-storey apartment blocks?
Whatever they decide, it will be the ruination of the south of Warrington.
Before any foundation is dug out, the infrastructure of roads has to be completed first.
The present infrastructure cannot cope with the traffic now, so how on earth will it cope with at least an extra 4,000 vehicles?
