ME and my husband are pensioners of nearly 76 years of age.
We have worked and contributed to this country all of our working lives of more than 50 years.
Pensioners are always the last to receive any extra pay, and then it is a pittance.
Before us are doctors, rail workers, bus drivers, binmen and the NHS.
I know they are important jobs, but we have worked just as hard in our lives.
The new Government has now stopped our winter Christmas fuel allowance payment, which helped with the extra use of gas and electricity in the winter months.
Hundreds of illegal immigrants come across on boats every day, and when they arrive, they receive accommodation, food, allowances, hospital care and doctor access.
Yet they have not contributed, so take it off the pensioners to look after them.
Has the new Government got its priorities wrong?
It seems that it has to me.
There are ways to come into our country through the right channels.
A MOON
