I READ with interest about the first set of plans for hundreds of new homes on Peel Hall.
I still cannot believe after all these years of fights and campaigning, this building scheme is going ahead.
How are the roads going to cope? Where will all the children go when more than 1,000 homes are built?
I will bet a lot of money that a primary school will not be built to accommodate all these extra people.
And this is to say nothing about the loss of green fields near to us.
Where will we go to exercise to get a break from the homes and building?
Nobody in the council cares for people who live around here.
We are not just living in the middle of a housing estate which is getting bigger and bigger.
Tackling climate change and going green? Forget it.
