AFTER seeing your photos of Warrington’s Pride marchers in last week’s Warrington Guardian (June 13) , I realised that the word ‘Pride’ should also apply to Warrington’s built environment, as well as the LGBTO+ community.
Warrington ‘s town centre remains to be tackled by a Warrington Borough Council which has respect for the town’s great heritage.
Perhaps the new incumbents of the Town Hall will have a sea change, and reverse the neglect, before it is too late.
The red telephone kiosk on Bridge Foot should not be the only thing which is protected for future generations.
