I READ with interest the reports on the various HMOs being applied for in Warrington.

I can understand why developers want them, as landlords can get far more bang for their buck.

But what of the neighbours nearby?

Most of these properties are created on small, tight, terraced streets.

Two issues arise.

Firstly is the noise – you cannot have six or eight people, and often more with partners and parties, and not have more noise than a small family.

Secondly is parking – most will have a car and therefore streets become gridlocked.
