EVERY time I pass Cockhedge Way and see the vacant site which was formerly New Town House and Quattro, I think to myself ‘what an ideal location for Warrington’s much-needed new hospital’.
When you take into the account the access ramps which formed part of the former complex, surely with would be a ‘custom-made’ advantage for parking facilities for an adjacent hospital.
I realise that the plans for further housing and apartments have already earmarked the site for development, but surely a change could be made and this would be an extension to vital infrastructure.
Warringtonians would agree and what would be the pros and cons of apartments?
Perhaps I could be enlightened?
