I THINK the council has had its fingers in its ears again when it comes to the Central 6 issue.
It is great that they have removed some of the nonsense traffic measures in Latchford.
But the biggest one remains.
The closure of Grange Avenue has caused countless problems in the area.
In short, the routes around Knutsford Road are rammed now at rush hour.
They were bad before but without the relief of Grange Avenue they are gridlocked.
It is time for the council to admit its mistake and let traffic through again.
A lot of people round here will remember Andy Carter’s help on this and the council’s defiance come election time.
He has understood the problem and tried to help the residents.
The council has just created gridlock and then not listened to reason.
