THE road surface on the main Knutsford Road in Grappenhall travelling towards the M6 has deteriorated over recent years.
It has left a deep rut in the middle of the road where the cats eyes are located and other patches of poor road surface.
This week, a team of workmen are patching up these repairs. How long they will last is anybody’s guess.
This is a stark difference in the repair the A49 Winwick Road received in the last year. It received a completely new road surface.
Once again, Warrington Borough Council is bringing in the north-south divide in relation to expenditure on the town’s main arbitrary roads.
The south is becoming the poor relative again.
