I REFER to a short article by Gareth Dunning that appeared in the Warrington Guardian last February.
Gareth reported that Councillors Ian Marks and Sheila Woodyatt had submitted formal objections to the proposed closure of Stephanie's the florist in Lymm. They claimed that the loss of the florist would be damaging to the community of Lymm'.
On Monday, February 18 the executive board of Warrington Borough Council will meet to finally decide the fate of Woolston Community High School.
I trust that Councillors Marks and Woodyatt will recognise that the loss of a high school will be far more damaging to the community and children than the loss of a flower shop and will take action to save our school.
