I AM writing this letter on behalf of my mum who is currently in Warrington Hospital after having a stroke.
She would like to thank everyone who has helped her from the minute she realised something was not quite right and the ambulance was phoned, to the care she has received for the last four weeks in hospital. This includes the ambulance personnel, all hospital staff, especially on ward B12, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, domestic staff including Paul who cleans her room, radio general, WRVS, the hospital chaplain and Steve Miller, the catering manager.
Thank you everyone for the care shown to Edna Burns in the last four weeks and to the continuity of this excellent care when she is discharged, hopefully sooner rather than later.
Also thanks to all family, neighbours and friends including work colleagues from Woodleigh and social services JOANNE COOPER-HOLMES on behalf of EDNA BURNS Penketh
