I FEEL I must write this letter about the flats built in Farnworth Road in Penketh.
I fully agree with Dave Spruce, the owner of the garage West End Motors (Warrington Guardian, December 3).
I was born in Penketh in 1944 and as a young lad I used to work that land for a local farmer.
The people who live opposite the flats must have lost hundreds of pounds on their properties.
Now I see the land opposite the Crown and Cushion public house is for sale, with planning permission for three shops with flats above, creating more parking problems.
Why doesn’t the council buy the land and make a car park?
This would help the current problem.
