MY wife has reported on more than one occasion about the amount of water that gathers on the roads after heavy rainfall.
I refer in particular to three locations in the Orford, Winwick Road areas outside Warrington Collegiate on Long Lane which looks like a lagoon after heavy rain.
Also on Winwick Road outside the college and at the junction of Longford street and Winwick Road.
In all these locations after heavy rain fall it presents a hazard to pedestrians and cyclists.
Maybe the council should take a look at the drains and address the problem.
It’s not good for cyclists and pedestrians and mothers with prams to have to dodge puddles and run the risk getting soaked by passing vehicles.
