To the person or persons who tried to kill my grandson Karl Saunders last Sunday night (February 25), on Lumbrook Road, Appleton Thorn, I hope you are pleased with yourselves.
Thank God his injuries were minor and he was no seriously hurt. His career was almost jeopardised and so was his mother's, as it was her car he borrowed.
I was devastated when I saw the picture in the Warrington Guardian (March 1).
How he got out alive I do not know, as there were no witnesses. The police cannot do anything unless it is a fatality.
Does a life have to be lost before anything can be done?
Lumbrook Road is notorious for speeding. Residents there have campaigned to reduce speed.
