AS I crossed the entrance to Sir Thomas Boteler High School while walking to work on Tuesday, I was honked at by an impatient motorist.
The blonde-haired mum, driving her two cossetted children to school, practically delivering them to the front door, approached from behind.
I had obviously delayed her by all of two seconds so she thought it was appropriate to use her car horn. When I turned around, she was obviously saying something abusive, thankfully I couldn't hear it.
Perhaps she should check her Highway Code. I quote: "Needing to cross a pavement; for example, to reach a driveway. Give way to pedestrians on the pavement".
