No wonder dog owners are getting a bad name around Warrington.
Twice this week I have stood in dog mess and ended up doing the silly grass-shuffle walk.
I also told two people about their dog messing the footpath, only to be told by one: "I haven't got a bag!" The other person looked at me as if I had done wrong because I told her to clean it up.
Warrington Borough Council should put dog mess wardens on foot on the streets to warn people it is a fineable offence. Is there such a job as a dog mess warden? If not, there should be! I would do it if I could take my dog with me at the same time.
