I NEVER met the lovely little girl, Ellie Lawrenson, and I wish I could help her mother and father, but all I can do is send them my deepest sympathy and let them know I am thinking of them. Life can be so cruel.
I also send sympathy to the family of Annie Edge, the lady who died alone because no-one cared enough to let her family know she was being sent home.
I say to those concerned, when we get old we do not expect to be put on the scrap heap and, don't forget, old age comes to everybody. So, be kind and caring, we only pass through life once.
