A dinosaur parade was hosted throughout Times Square alongside the Go Wild Halloween Camp in the market.
Two big dinosaurs, Spike and Salsa, and a baby dinosaur, Tank, were walked around times square in half an hour slots, at 11am, 1:15pm, and 2:30pm.
They were able to interact with the visitors and, between walk-abouts, play interactive games, like roaring competitions and dino fun-facts.
Rory McNamara, with Rent a Dinosaur, was welcomed back after the success in summer to showcase the dinosaurs again.
McNamara said the events ‘always tend to go well’ and was feeling positive after the good reception they received previously this year.
In the top floor of the Market, Animal Teach hosted an event featuring geckos, snakes, and cockroaches, where the participants could hold and learn more about these animals.
Naomi Ennis, who ran the event, said that she was happy to ‘inspire future zoologists’ in Warrington and that the day was very busy but full of nice interactions.
Both events ended at 3pm, with the dinosaurs performing an original song and the Halloween Camp’s session fully booked.
They kicked off the Halloween spirit in Warrington this half term, with more themed events planned later in the week, like pumpkin carving workshops and horror films in Cineworld on the lead up to the 31st.
