With the first five rounds of the campaign being played at the club’s main stadium, it means The Wire will also feature at Leigh Sports Village, AMT Headingley Stadium in Leeds and the Totally Wicked Stadium in St Helens.

New head coach Ged Ginty will lead the team, with the Betfred Women's Super League season starting in mid-May after the group phase of the Challenge Cup.

Warrington Wolves Women will kick off the new season against Huddersfield Giants at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday, May 18.

They then travel to Leigh Sports Village to play newly promoted Leigh Leopards on Sunday, May 25, before another game at The Halliwell Jones Stadium against Barrow Raiders on Sunday, June 1 will form a double header with the men's first-team game against Castleford Tigers.

Victoria Park will also host some big matches, including battles against current champions York Valkyrie (June 29), Wigan Warriors (July 20) and St Helens (July 27).

The season will conclude with a ‘derby’ against Wigan Warriors on Sunday, September 14 at Robin Park Arena.
