DETAILS of a Testimonial match honouring Warrington Wolves centre Toby King have now been confirmed.
For the third year in a row, The Wire will face Leigh Leopards in what will be their main pre-season fixture having previously faced them in Testimonial matches for Joe Philbin (2024) and Ben Currie (2023).
The game will take place at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday, February 1 – 15 days before their Super League campaign gets underway at Huddersfield Giants. The kick-off time for the game is yet to be confirmed.
It is the third friendly to be added to Warrington’s pre-season schedule – neighbours and dual-registration partners Widnes Vikings will also visit The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday, January 17, while they will travel to face Halifax Panthers on Sunday, January 12, in a Testimonial fixture for ex-Wire academy graduate James Saltonstall.
