MORE of Warrington Wolves’ 2025 fixtures – including their Round One task – can now be revealed.

It has been confirmed that The Wire will open up the new Super League campaign away from home with a trip to Huddersfield Giants.

The game will take place at Huddersfield’s John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday, February 16, kick off 3pm, and brings about the possibility of an immediate family reunion.

England front-rower Tom Burgess – the younger brother of Wire head coach Sam – has joined the Giants from South Sydney Rabbitohs, meaning his debut is set to come against the club coached by his elder sibling.

It will be the third time Warrington have opened a Super League campaign against Huddersfield, with the last being in 2011 when the competition kicked off with “Millenium Magic” in Cardiff.

The Giants ran out 28-18 victors that day to start a season in which The Wire went on to lift the League Leaders’ Shield.
