THESE pictures of Matty Ashton's try for England in the second Test against Samoa at Headingley in Leeds yesterday are wonderful.
The images are taken from an unusually low angle and capture the Warrington Wolves winger's magical moment at its finest.
Ashton received the ball from Wigan scrum-half Harry Smith in space about 15 metres from the try line and was able to beat the covering defence to touch down with a spectacular dive close to the corner post.
The 32nd-minute try put England 16-6 in the ascendancy at the time.
The score, Ashton's 35th of the season - including 32 for The Wire and two in the first Test against Samoa - takes his total to six tries in five England caps.
