CAI Taylor-Wray has capped a breakthrough season by picking up two Warrington Wolves club awards.
The prodigiously talented full-back, who made his senior debut for The Wire during 2024 and went on to score three tries in six first-team appearances, was a big winner at an awards night held for the club’s reserves, academy and scholarship teams.
Having also scored an incredible 13 tries in eight reserve-grade games this year, Taylor-Wray was named as the club’s reserve player of the year while he also picked up the players’ player accolade voted for by his teammates.
The same awards for the academy side also went to one player, with prop Charlie McKler bagging both prizes on the night.
For the scholarship side, prop Isaac Holdsworth was named player of the year while the players’ player prize went to Ewan Irwin.
The club also handed out “Made of Wire” awards for all three sides, which look beyond on-field performance and recognise players who represent the values, standards and behaviours the club see as critical.
Winger Frank Sergent picked up that award for the reserves and academy side, with the scholarship award going to Tommy Rhodes.
