IT is a moment that will go down as Warrington Wolves’ most memorable in recent history.
When George Williams received the ball from Danny Walker, there was a little over a minute left of the first golden point period after 84 minutes of pulsating play-off action.
He had already had one drop-goal attempt charged down by the St Helens defence but this time, Wire’s on-field skipper made no mistake and sent The Halliwell Jones Stadium into raptures.
