TWELVE-MEN Warrington Wolves were narrowly beaten at Leigh Leopards in Super League Round 24.

Prop Paul Vaughan was sent off for a high tackle only 11 minutes into the contest and Leigh led through a Ricky Leutele try at the time.

Matt Moylan increased Leigh's lead with a penalty.

Matty Ashton went over in the corner three minutes before the break and Josh Thewlis' touchline conversion levelled matters.

Frankie Halton put Leigh back in front five minutes into the new half, with Moylan adding the extras, and Josh Charnley extended the lead to 16-6 ten minutes later.

Sam Powell went over in the 79th minute with Thewlis converting but it proved to be too late to affect the outcome.
