SAM Burgess has been named as Super League's coach of the month for the very first time.
Warrington Wolves' rookie head coach was the obvious choice for the July award having led his side to a perfect month, with four victories from as many matches.
Memorable away wins at Wigan Warriors and St Helens followed home victories over Huddersfield Giants and Leeds Rhinos as Warrington ended the calendar month top of the Super League table.
They will return to the summit with a victory over fellow high-fliers Hull KR at The Halliwell Jones Stadium this evening.

Warrington won their games in some style, too, scoring a total of 142 points across the four games at an average of 35.5 per game and conceding just 32.
