WARRINGTON Wolves have been given a big fitness boost ahead of their trip to Wigan Warriors on Friday.

While each player's fitness will continue to be assessed, all four of their current short-term injury concerns have been named in this week's 21-man squad by head coach Sam Burgess.

It means at least one of Lachlan Fitzgibbon, Josh Thewlis, Toby King and Jordy Crowther will be involved in the top-of-the-table clash at the Brick Community Stadium.

Fitzgibbon and Thewlis have been struggling with shoulder injuries, while King and Crowther have been sidelined with hamstring and ankle issues respectively.

Their returns are a huge filip for Burgess, who has lost the services of two more players for this week's game and beyond.

James Harrison will miss this game and next week's hosting of Hull KR having been hit with a two-match ban following his sending-off in the win at St Helens last week, while Stefan Ratchford will miss around eight weeks of action having undergone surgery on fractures to his jaw and eye-socket suffered in the same game.
