WARRINGTON Wolves and Leeds Rhinos will kick off Round 17 of Super League on Thursday - and both sides have unveiled their squads for the game.

And there is a surprise in Sam Burgess' selection in the shape of prop James Harrison, who had been set to miss the game having been handed a one-match ban by the Match Review Panel yesterday.

However, the front-rower has been named in The Wire's 21-man squad for the game at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, with the RFL confirming to the Warrington Guardian that the club had submitted an appeal against the charge to be be heard at tonight's Operational Rules Tribunal.

Elsewhere, there will be a few enforced changes with several young players seemingly set to get a chance to shine.

The outside backs are particularly stretched, with Toby King and Josh Thewlis ruled out while Connor Wrench will also miss the remainder of the season.

Lachlan Fitzgibbon is also out, with four changes made to the squad in all.

It is hoped winger Matty Ashton (back) and forward Jordy Crowther (ankle) will be able to return from injury while Joe Bullock, Max Wood and youngster Cai Taylor-Wray are also drafted in.

Visitors Leeds arrive chasing a third consecutive victory under the interim charge of Chev Walker, who has been in charge since Rohan Smith's departure last month.

However, they will have to do so without centre Harry Newman and prop Justin Sangare who both picked up injuries during their golden-point win over London Broncos on Saturday.

They are replaced in the 21-man squad by Luis Roberts and Tom Nicholson-Watton.
