SAM Burgess insists he does not yet know the team he will select for Saturday’s Challenge Cup Final.

However, he did affirm that everybody other than those with pre-existing injuries remains available for the clash with Wigan Warriors at Wembley.

The only potential issue was with forward Jordy Crowther, who has missed the past two games in order to rest a shoulder issue but Burgess confirmed he would be fit to play.

“We’re fully fit. Nothing’s changed. Jordy Crowther is alright – he’ll play,” he said.

“I don’t know my team yet – this is my hardest week.

“We’ve got most back on deck barring a few unfortunate players like Philbs (Joe Philbin) and Leon (Hayes), but otherwise we’re pretty healthy so I’ve got some tough calls to make.”

Philbin – a try-scorer when The Wire last won at Wembley back in 2019 – is the newest injury having suffered an adductor muscle injury during the recent win at Catalans that is set to keep him out until early-August.

The prop had successful surgery on the issue last week and Burgess said he has responded well.

“He’s a positive bloke,” he said.

“We’ll keep him involved and he’ll be with us throughout the week.

“He’ll get to enjoy it for what it is but he just won’t be playing.”
