AROUND 1,000 Warrington Wolves supporters are set to head to France this weekend to see their side take on Catalans Dragons in Super League.

For those not crossing the Channel, however, The Halliwell Jones Stadium is hosting a Warrington-Wigan double header on Saturday to give fans their live rugby league fix.

First up is a Betfred Women's Super League clash between The Wire and their neighbours, which kicks off at 1pm.

Armani Sharrock’s Warrington side have won two of their three Super League fixtures this season, including a tight 10-6 win over Barrow Raiders last time out.

Wigan will arrive at the HJ looking to extend their 3-0 start to the campaign – Denis Betts’ side sit top of the table on points difference.

Then at 3pm, the two clubs' Academy sides meet in a top-of-the-table clash with both having won four of their first five matches.

Wigan sit about Warrington at the top on points difference, so the game should be an enticing affair.

The North Stand will be open for supporters and 2024 members can watch both matches for free, with entry for non-members costing £5 for adults and £2 for concessions.
