THERE are always wolves on the pitch at The Halliwell Jones Stadium but on Friday, there will also be wolves off it.
As Warrington Wolves prepare to take on Castleford Tigers in Round Three of Super League, there will be some very special guests in place in the shape of a real-life wolf pack.
The club have teamed up with the Watermill Wolves Wolfdogs team to provide fans with a chance to meet some of the majestic four-legged creatures around the ground tomorrow night.
It is not the first time the pack, who are experienced animal actors having appeared in several films and TV shows, have graced The Wire’s home ground.
Back in 2018, they were brought along for a home game against Wigan Warriors and proved to be a lucky charm as Warrington ran out 16-10 winners against their neighbours.
Supporters will have the chance to get up close and personal with the wolves for photos before the game at the north-east and south-east corners of the ground.
