JOE Bullock and Matty Russell’s short-term departures from Warrington Wolves have now been confirmed.
This morning, the Guardian revealed both were set to leave the club on loan, with a deal agreed for both to join a fellow Super League club.
That club is now confirmed to be Hull FC, with both players heading to Humberside on initial two-week deals having not featured competitively for The Wire this season to date.
The pair join Brad Dwyer in being allowed to leave temporarily, with the hooker confirmed as having joined Leigh Leopards on a two-week loan yesterday.
Bullock and Russell are eligible to feature for the Black and Whites’ Round Three home game against London Broncos on Sunday.
For winger Russell, it marks a return to the club he spent a brief spell on loan with back in 2012 while on the books at Wigan Warriors. He made six appearances for the Airlie Birds during that time.
Bullock has been hindered by a knee cartilage issue throughout pre-season but made his on-field return for dual-registration partners Widnes Vikings in their 1895 Cup clash with North Wales Crusaders earlier this month.
