SAM Burgess had an eventful night in the only match he played for Bradford Bulls against Warrington Wolves at The Halliwell Jones Stadium - including being shown a yellow card!
Burgess coaches his first official Warrington home game against Hull FC tonight, 17 years since his playing debut at the stadium in Bradford colours.
As a young raw 18-year-old substitute on February 18, 2007, an incident occurred.
In the 46th minute Warrington forward Rob Parker was brought down inches from the try line looking to score against his old club.
At the subsequent play the ball, Burgess ran from an offside position and kicked the ball from the dummy half's grasp.
Referee Ashley Klein immediately despatched Burgess to the sin bin!
It was Burgess who had the last laugh however, getting winning pay in a 36-20 victory.
