ANY Warrington Wolves fans not heading to Perpignan to watch their side’s season opener tomorrow will still have chance to get their live rugby league fix.
The club’s reserve team are in action at lunchtime as they play their first game of the year – a pre-season friendly against Salford Red Devils.
The match gets underway at 1pm at Victoria Park, with 2024 members entitled to free admission for the match.
Non-members can watch at a price of £5 for adults and £2 for under 16s.
Hooker Brad Dwyer could potentially feature having been left out of the 21-man squad for the Super League clash with Catalans Dragons while forward Max Wood, who impressed in both of the first-team friendlies having signed from Wigan in the off-season, is also set to be involved.
The reserves’ league season gets underway on March 8 with a trip to Hull KR.
