THERE are some big names missing from the Warrington Wolves squad to face St Helens on Friday.
The most notable absentee is half-back George Williams, who also missed out when Saints last visited The Halliwell Jones Stadium in July.
Peter Mata'utia is also out of the squad and will miss a game for the first time this season, with Gil Dudson also dropping out having featured off the bench against Salford Red Devils on Sunday.
Interim head coach Gary Chambers confirmed in his pre-match press conference on Wednesday afternoon that all three were suffering from injuries - Williams a thigh issue and Mata'utia and Dudson hamstring problems.
There is better news in the shape of props Joe Philbin and Sam Kasiano, who remain in contention despite a hamstring injury and illness respectively. Philbin missed Sunday's game while Kasiano was unable to come back on after only a short stint in the first half.
Adam Holroyd, Greg Minikin and Luke Thomas have all been drafted into the 21-man squad for this week.
