RILEY Dean has returned to Warrington Wolves and will be in contention for the remainder of the season.
The club have confirmed they have recalled the young half-back from his loan spell at Castleford Tigers, where he was due to spend the remainder of the season.
However, he will now be available for the rest of The Wire’s games, starting with Friday’s clash with Super League leaders Catalans Dragons.
The 21-year-old has played four times for Andy Last’s side, kicking two goals in their most recent fixture – a 34-16 loss at Hull KR on Friday.
Dean had spent the early part of this year on loan at Featherstone Rovers, scoring five tries and kicking 23 goals in 11 appearances to help Sean Long’s side to the top of the Championship.
Following his recall from Featherstone, he started The Wire’s defeat at Leigh Centurions in May before being sent out on loan again.
In total, Dean has made 10 first-team appearances since debuting in 2019, scoring three tries and kicking five goals.
