JOSH Drinkwater is set to miss Warrington Wolves' return to Super League action on Friday.
The scrum-half has been hit with a one-match penalty notice having been charged with dangerous contact following the Match Review Panel's look at Saturday's Challenge Cup victory over Catalans Dragons.
The panel minutes state Drinkwater "used any part of his body forcefully to twist, bend or otherwise apply pressure to the limb or limbs of an opposing player in a way that involves an unacceptable risk of injury to that player" in the early stages of The Wire's 16-14 victory in Perpignan
As a result of the Grade C charge, he is now set to be unavailable for Friday's trip to his former club Leigh Leopards in Round 13.
Josh McGuire has also been charged with dangerous contact but given his charge is rated at Grade A, he only faces a fine of £250 as opposed to a suspension.
Challenge Cup sixth round, Match Review Panel sanctions:
Morgan Knowles (St Helens) - Grade C High Tackle - 2 Match Penalty Notice
Rhys Kennedy (Hull KR) - Grade B Dangerous Contact - 1 Match Penalty Notice
Jorge Taufua (Wakefield Trinity) - Grade A Dangerous Contact - N/A
Marc Sneyd (Salford Red Devils) - Grade B Dangerous Contact - £250 Fine
Josh McGuire (Warrington Wolves) - Grade A Dangerous Contact - £250 Fine
