WARRINGTON Wolves head coach Daryl Powell has highlighted some injury concerns after the 20-14 win against Catalans Dragons in France.
But he has not named names at this stage, keeping his cards close to his chest ahead of what will be another huge contest when The Wire host Wigan Warriors at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday.
“There'll be a couple of injury concerns out of that game I think, but I'm not 100% yet so I won't say too much at the minute,” he said.
“We'll get some scans and see what the story is. But playing games like this you're going to get rattled.
“I thought what Wigan did in their win against St Helens yesterday with a team that they had shuffled around was great and we did the same today.”
Wire's shuffling around included Peter Mata'utia spending time in the back row in the second half, suggesting Powell lost some of his options down the middle, but young forward Lucas Green wasn't called on off the bench.
