WARRINGTON Wolves youngster Josh Lynch looks set to spend the season out on loan.
League One side North Wales Crusaders last night confirmed the loan signing of the winger, who is a native of the Crusaders’ home time of Colwyn Bay.
Lynch, who scored a try on his Super League debut against Huddersfield Giants last August and featured against his new loan club in last week’s pre-season friendly, is available to make his debut in the season opener against Dewsbury Rams on Sunday.
Due to scheduling issues with the Crusaders’ home ground, the match is being played at Widnes’ DCBL Stadium with a 2.30 kick off.
“I’m grateful to have been given the opportunity to play for the club,” Lynch said.
“I feel like it will be a great chance to improve my skillset and better myself as a rugby player.
“Living in Colwyn Bay, I’m familiar with the home pitch so having the chance to play on it in front of the home crowd will be a great experience.”
