WARRINGTON Wolves’ partnership with main shirt sponsors Hoover has been extended.

The domestic appliances brand has confirmed they will remain the club’s principal sponsors for the next two years with the option for a third.

Hoover replaced One Energy as The Wire’s main shirt sponsor for the 2020 season and the latest kit featuring their logo will be unveiled on November 4.

They are also the main sponsors of the club’s women’s team, who earned promotion to Group One of the Betfred Women’s Super League for 2023 following a perfect 2022 season.

Antony Peart, director of brand and communications at Hoover Candy Group, said: “We are delighted to extend our sponsorship of the team for another two years.

“As a business that is based in Warrington, we are proud to be the main sponsors of the Warrington Wolves men’s team.

“Both brands share a passion for performance and being the absolute best at what we do.”

Mr Peart added, “We are extremely proud to have supported the sponsorship through the pandemic and now into the future and we look forward to building on this for the coming years.

“We view this very much as a partnership between our iconic brands.

“This is reflected in our work together within the community and our joint commitment to inclusivity by working with all teams including the wheelchair, PDRL and LDSL sides.

“We want to extend our congratulations to the women’s team on their promotion.

“This is fantastic news, and we are looking forward to seeing them experience even more success next year.”

Wire chief executive Karl Fitzpatrick added: “We’re thrilled to be able to continue our successful partnership with such an iconic, worldwide blue-chip brand.

“The support from Hoover has been fantastic over the last couple of years and they have been excellent ambassadors for our club and sport. To continue to have them on board is a huge positive for not just Warrington Wolves but for Super League also.

“I’m looking forward to what we can achieve together over the coming years and to be able to give back to supporters through a number of planned initiatives.”
